This summer we had the good fortune of taking a trip to celebrate my parents' 60th birthdays (which were actually last year, but put on hold for the building of our house). The four of us met in Vancouver, B.C. and after 2 days there, took a 13 day excursion in and around Alaska! We spent 7 nights on a cruise and 6 nights on a land tour. It definitely ranks as the best trip I've taken in the USA and very high on the list of places visited worldwide! It is truly an amazing landscape that can't possibly be caught on film or in a photograph. We did our best though, so I am going to (a little at a time) share some of those pictures on our blog.
